HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!

Happy New Year to you all!

Now in our 16th year, we are pleased and excited to report that everything Limehouse is still on the rise. Bigger attendances. Bigger venues. Bigger events. And we owe it all to you guys, the Thin Lizzy Massive. Thanks to everyone for their tremendous support throughout 2009. Its been our best year yet and we are most grateful to you all.

Surely one of the highlights of the year was our tour with that most magnificent of tribs, LIVEWIRE/DC and once again we want to thank them publicly for being the Dream Team to work with. The tour climaxed at none other than the prestigious Shepherds Bush Empire in London, where a thousand fans saw both bands deliver awesome sets!

Speaking of multi-band eventsÂ…whilst we have a bit of time off after Christmas, we're back on the road in the middle of January, and have a several big shows lined up for you in the New Year.

We have another Livewire/Limehouse show at St David's Hall in Cardiff on the 23rd January (full info and tickets are available from our website). At last count, tickets had surpassed the 500 mark already, so you know this is just gonna be HUGE! Its yet another step up for us to go into such a prestigious venue, which I'm sure many of our Welsh supporters are already familiar with. So dont wait til its too late, boyo get your tickets here!  http://www.stdavidshallcardiff.co.uk/English/For-Those-About-to-Rock/

Next up is the much anticipated 'Rhodes To Wulfrun' event on 27th February at the Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton which features Limehouse Lizzy, Letz Zep, Are You Experienced, ZZ Tops and Foreigners Journey. Bigger and better than last year, this is shaping up to be an annual event any Classic Rock fan really shouldnt miss! Tickets are selling fast for this one, so buy early to avoid disappointment.

Then in March, we have our first St Patricks Hat-Trick on the 17th at the O2 Academy Liverpool, with Rattle & Hum (U2 Tribute), and 'Beer for Breakfast' (Trad./Ceili), celebrating Classic rock, newer rock and a bit of traditional jiggery thrown in for good measure, all from the Emerald Isle.Â…

As well as these multi-band specials, we of course have our standalone Limehouse shows at a venue near you, delivering our nigh-on 2 hour blast of the cream of Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzys back catalogue. Please check out our new tour dates that go down to the end of April:-

Hope you all had a great time this Christmas, and all the best for 2010,

See you out there...

Bad moon rising...

Very sad news, it appears that one of London's most venerable and much loved venue's is set to close. Here's what the venue have to say:-

It appears that what they really need on an immediate basis is people to support their gigs. Limehouse Lizzy will be there on 17th December, so come on down, and don't let it become a Young's bistro.

There are some tickets left, please follow the link:-

Rhodes closed...It is now confirmed that Limehouse Lizzy will NOT be appearing at the Rhodes Rock Festival 2010 in Lindos. However, our appearance at the annual reunion at the Wulfrun Hall in Wolverhampton is a definite, with ticket sales for that event starting to go mental....

Can't Face it...an apology from Wayne is always worth listening to, even just for its\' scarcity value! Hear the Big-Mouthed One speak: "apologies to all those who have so kindly asked to befriend me on Facebook. Thing is, I've had an account for about a year and never used it - I've even forgotten the password! Facebook looks like too much fun and I think I would get carried away and waste much of my days on it - so I consciously decided to avoid it. Anyone interested can keep in touch through the band Facebook site - but thanks anyway, it\'s really nice to know you thought of me!" Yes mate but they didn\'t tell you WHAT they thought of you...
