WE'RE LIMBERING UP and getting ready for 3 of the more special gems that adorn the Limehouse jewel-encrusted crown that is our gigging schedule. Not that they're all not special - of course they are - but some stand out a little more than others for various reasons. First is CLUB RIGA in Leigh-on-Sea on Good Friday. This clasically-worn little house-of-rock-and-blues on the Essex coast has now morphed into our annual fixture for Easter, seemingly much to the delight of those who refuse to face the extortion of any kind of vacation for this (or any) time of year, given the advance sell-out. If you like to see the band up-close and grafting their collective nads off in a smaller, stand-up rock venue, as opposed to the many theatre settings that we do, then it doesn't get better than this. THIS WILL SELL OUT (as usual)! Unnerstand?

Next, on Easter Sunday is the mighty vessel that is THE RIVER ROOMS in Stourbridge, the West Midlands. For mid-to-larger size club gigs, this has to be one of the best in the country. With its' excellent location, great decor and atmosphere and now brand new PA sound system to match, this again is becoming an annual Easter staple for us, after many a year away. There's a great view of the band from almost any vantage point and, even when packed, is still comfortable. Come on, at least shortlist it as one of your things-to-do for Easter Sunday.

And finally...the much-loved legend that is THE BROOK in Portswood, Southampton. Again, as with THE RIVER ROOMS, vying for the title of the best mid-to-larger size venues in the country, this is a 'destination' venue, ie, one that is worth making the trip out for, being immaculately maintained and playing host to some of the biggest names on the circuit. As a band, we've grown up with The Brook and have witnessed many a party travel to it (and partied with them!) just for the craic and, even as we speak with some weeks to go, ticket sales now number in the hundreds.
