Wayne Ellis
Wayne Ellis

Bassist, vocalist and supreme entertainer... "as close as you can possibly get to the late great Philip Lynott himself".

The accolades are a tribute in themselves to the time, love and sheer determination that Wayne has put into building Limehouse Lizzy up to the position they find themselves in today - suitably rewarded in 2001 with the title "Live Band Of The Year" by Guitarist Magazine.

However, he is no mimic, he is no impressionist. A Leo like Phil himself, Wayne just has that natural charisma and style that Phil once displayed. One critic summed it all up in a live review.... "all the time there is Wayne Ellis, the memory of Thin Lizzy will be kept very much alive and well, thank you!"...

Greg Alcock
Greg AlcockGreg Alcock is one half of the Limehouse Lizzy guitar duo. A wah-wah specialist, he is also a co-founder of the band along with Wayne, back in 1993.

Greg was the guitar tech for none other than Brian Robertson of Thin Lizzy, allowing him an unequalled opportunity to learn many of the key parts of 'Live and Dangerous' from The Master himself, whilst getting the lowdown on that Lizzy Sound...

Born in Romford, Essex, Greg is a Gemini and supports Tottenham Hotspur F.C. He started learning the guitar from his brother Steve when he was 13.

Alongside live appearances with Brian Downey and Brian Robertson from Thin Lizzy, Greg has also worked with punk rock legend Eddie Tenpole and members of UFO, Diamond Head, The Quireboys and Terraplane.

"Greg Alcock - true Lizzy style...heavier and wah infused" - THE GUITAR MAGAZINE

Andy Fox
Andy Fox

Andy Fox (the baby of the band!) forms the powerhouse rhythm section of Limehouse Lizzy along with WayneJoining the band in 1995, Andy has had plenty of time to study the style of great Brian Downey - he was only five years old when his Dad used to play the classic“Bad Reputation” album to him!

Born in Tottenham, London, Andy is an Aries and, like Greg, an avid Spurs fan. He started learning to play drums at fourteen, when his school mates formed a rock band called “Vision”. During his time playing for Thin Lizzy Tribute band “Aint Lizzy”, Andy even took the place of Brian Downey, to rehearse with original Thin Lizzy members for the “Are You Ready" convention.

Andy’s precocious talent was recognised when he was recruited to play in 'The Clan' alongside original Thin Lizzy Guitarist Brian Robertson, Wayne and Quireboys guitarist Paul Guerin. He toured extensively through the UK & Europe with them and joined them in the studio for their debut EP “That’s All”. Brian Robertson stated in “Kerrang!” magazine, when forming 'The Clan', “I’ve got Andy Fox….. that’s the goalkeeper and centre forward sorted… a great start!”

Tim Read
Tim Read
Tim Read is Limehouse Lizzy's newest recruit. Tim first appeared with Limehouse in 2005, when he stood in for Greg Alcock. He became a full time member in January 2007.
Born in Burton on Trent he took up the guitar playing in an unusual way - he plays a right handed guitar but plays it left handed. This means the heavy E string is at the bottom of the fretboard and light string at the top!
Tim is best known for his work with Leicester rockers Chrome Molly. He enjoyed recording with them and playing on tours with bands like Alice Cooper and Queensryche. Tim later went on to join staffordshire rock band Demon. Tim is an Aries and supports Port Vale. He also teaches the guitar in his spare time. A ball of flamboyant energy, Tim is never happier than being onstage delivering the music of Thin Lizzy to fellow Lizzy fans.
